In Lugano and around Lugano there is a lot for the shopper. If you can't find what you're looking for in Lugano, you can drive to Mendrisio to the largest outlet center in Switzerland, "Foxtown", which is open 7 days a week. For shopaholics, Milan, the fashion city, is only 1 hour away.
In summer, countless events take place in Lugano that promise short nights.
RELAX & GOURMET
The restaurants in Lugano promise a real gourmet festival. For local indulgence, head to "Grotto's". These are simple, traditional restaurants. Right next to the accommodation is the Grotto al Pepe with the best breast tips (costine or puntine). Lugano is also a wine region with many wineries to taste.
